We are a diverse community who savor a "small-church" atmosphere to reach out in big ways! Those new to us often find our casual environment, varied musical expression, & personable welcome to be a refreshing taste of what church can be!

With a long history of blazing new trails for mission, our efforts in recent years include providing the leadership to establish a new Lutheran worshipping community in nearby Mt. Vernon / Lisbon, & the completion of a campaign to add new space for worship, learning, music, & staff. God has blessed us with membership willing to step out in faith for the sake of the Gospel, and the energy of the Spirit moving among is contagious!

We don't pretend to be a congregation in which everyone will be comfortable. But if you seek a community that dares to embrace a vision that calls us closer to Christ and one another, we hope that you'll come & help us pursue it - together! It's a welcome alternative!"
